Editor in Chief
Silvano Esposito, MD, has been professor of Infectious Diseases at the Faculty of Medicine and Surgery, University of Salerno, Italy, until November 2019. Over the course of his career, his clinical and research interest has been mostly in the area of bacterial infections, with special concern for bacterial resistance and antibiotic stewardship. He was the founder of the journal "Le Infezioni in Medicina" on 1993 and by November 2019 he is employed as full-time Editor in Chief.
